Tennis

Last Wednesday, room 15 had tennis. We were learning to do back hand. Back hand is both hands on the racket and you hit the ball to the opposite way to the way you write. We had a lot of fun learning and playing.

 On week 2, 2014, we had kellysports to teach us how to swim. I'm the boy in all 3 photo's. During this event, I learnt to freestyle, float(on front & back), glide(front, back). It was fun! My coach was Nick.

ICE-CREAM MAKING

Im sure you all must love ice-cream. Well, room12 made ice-cream with Mrs Demchey! In my group there was Corban, Toby, Sam & me. Our group name is Fanta Galaxy.We enjoyed making ice-cream. The flavour was vanilla & blueberry Fanta. The target maaket for our ice-cream was hobbies/interests. Our company name was Cream For Kids. Our slogan was Crean For Kids, Cream For Life. Here are the names of the others groups...

Blog reflection on quad blogging

If a class would want to be a part of quad blogging, I would tell them that we post good comments on their blog and tell them what we were/are learning. Then that will tell them what to do when they start.

What makes a good comment is adding encouraging things and telling them what they can improve on.

What I like about quad blogging is that you learn what other schools are learning about.

This can help us in learning by the symbols, language and text.

I really don't think that any changes should be made.

Sherbet

Hello again viewers. Today, im  here to talk to you about making sherbet. We made sherbet on Tuesday. To make sherbet, we need...baking soda, icing sugar, citric and tartaric acid and powdered cordial(orange flavered powderded cordial). The yuckyest thing to try was baking soda.

 

Ripper Rugby

 Last week, room 12 started playing ripper rugby. We play ripper rugby every Monday morning. Last week, we were told we need to work on our team work.I didn't play this week because i had a bad knee. So far, we are all having fun!!! On Friday, the senior syndicate will  be having a challenge.

Gym sport

Last term & this term, we are all participating in gym sport & kapa haka. For gym sport, we had cheerleading, arobics, & hip hop. The kapa haka is not part of gym sport. I'm in cheerleading but not in the real team. Usman, Rhiannon, Ariana & Katherine & I are not all in the real team. Mrs Parkinson's husband made up a remix out of some songs.   It is really cool.
